40.5kv Panel Sliding Model

The AMS model 40.5kV withdrawable medium-voltage switchgear is designed and manufactured in accordance with IEC 62271 standards and holds a type-test certificate from INTERTEK, UK (ASTA Certificate)

The design of the switchgear's mechanical interlock system comprehensively addresses safe operating conditions and equipment protection, ensuring the following:

• The breaker cannot be moved while in the closed position.
• The breaker can only be connected in the test or service positions.
• Moving the breaker from the test to the service position (or vice versa) is not possible while the breaker compartment door is open.
• If the ground switch is closed, the power breaker cannot be moved from the test to the service position. Conversely, the ground switch cannot be closed if the breaker is in the service position.
• The control connector cannot be detached once the breaker is in the service position.

Features

• Durable enclosure made from 2mm thick galvanized steel sheet using Double Bend technology.
• Complete isolation of adjacent cells, even in the busbar compartment (using wall bushings and silicone separators).
• Separate explosion relief vents for each medium-voltage compartment.
• Equipped with an automatic, earthed metal shutter mechanism with a chain-sprocket and guide rail system.
• Equipped with a mechanical indicator for the ground switch position and inspection windows.
• Equipped with a breaker transport trolley with adjustable height (a trolley equipped with a lifting mechanism is also available).
• Ensures complete operator safety and ease of operation.
